This dollhouse wooden upholstered side chair is 1:12 scale. Dimensions are approximately 3 1/2 inches high x 1 7/8 inches wide x 1 3/4 inches deep. It is stained mahogany with an upholstered seat and back of ivory satin with a patterned stripe. Item# T3581.
This chair is great for DIY customization, as you can paint it whatever color you want with acrylic or chalk paint, and even change the color of the upholstery with fabric paint. Pro-tip: Carefully pry the old seat cover and back off before painting. Then glue them back on afterwards. The mahogany stain underneath is ideal for distressing the piece. I find an emery board works great for getting into those tiny spots to sand.
This item is somewhat fragile and not recommended for children under 7 years of age.

Refunds
I require contact within 14 days of receipt if you wish to return an item. Please view photos and read descriptions so you know what you are getting when you order. I do want you to be happy with your purchase. If your order is damaged or wrong in any way, please contact me via email, and I will make it right. In some cases I will simply ship you a new item. In some cases I will provide a shipping label for return.
Order preparation time
I don't list an item unless it is ready to ship. I always attempt to ship items the next business day after an order is placed. Please allow me three days at the most, as there are times when "life happens", and I am unable to ship your order the next day.
Shipping options
A few of my items are able to be shipped in a regular first-class envelope. If it can be shipped this way, I will offer it. Most items ship via USPS first class package rate, which is usually the least expensive option, and has tracking, but no insurance. This can take from 2 - 7 business days to arrive. However, there is an option to pay additional for 2 - 3 day Priority Mail shipping, if you choose, which also includes insurance.
Custom and personalized orders
I do accept custom requests on some of my items. In the case of a custom order, I will let you know the estimated time it will take me to fill your order, and if there will be any additional charges.
Regarding the pricing of my artisan-crafted items
Some of my creations are priced higher based on the time it took me to build or customize them. As an artist, I do not try to compete with mass-produced items in the market place. My artisan-crafted items are priced for their uniqueness - waiting for that perfect owner. In all honesty - some of the pieces I create, I can barely stand to part with, so I set a price that makes me feel better about losing them. I want them to go to someone who might appreciate them as much as I do.
