Dollhouse artisan made shabby chic nautical map desk with blotter and maps

Picture this shabby chic map desk in your own dollhouse study or library room box scene. This one-of-a-kind handcrafted piece is rehabbed from a vintage wood miniature desk circa 1980s. I have hand painted it in serenity blue chalk paint and then lightly distressed in a shabby chic style. To add just a touch of bling, glittery silver pull-knobs have been added to the (non-opening) desk drawers. On the desktop is a gold-cornered desk blotter containing an old-world map. Eight additional rolled-up paper maps are in the cubby holes of the desk and can be removed and displayed however you wish. There is still plenty of space to add your own tiny nautical treasures to this desk.
The desk measures approximately 4 1/2 inches wide x 2 inches deep x 3 1/4 inches high.
Please Note: Other items pictured, other than what is mentioned in the listing are not included but may be sold in a separate listing on my site. This piece is for the serious collector and is not intended to be a children's toy. It has small pieces that could fall off and be a choking hazard.

Refunds
I require contact within 14 days of receipt if you wish to return an item. Please view photos and read descriptions so you know what you are getting when you order. I do want you to be happy with your purchase. If your order is damaged or wrong in any way, please contact me via email, and I will make it right. In some cases I will simply ship you a new item. In some cases I will provide a shipping label for return.
Order preparation time
I don't list an item unless it is ready to ship. I always attempt to ship items the next business day after an order is placed. Please allow me three days at the most, as there are times when "life happens", and I am unable to ship your order the next day.
Shipping options
A few of my items are able to be shipped in a regular first-class envelope. If it can be shipped this way, I will offer it. Most items ship via USPS Ground Advantage, which is usually the least expensive option, and has tracking and insurance. This can take from 2 - 7 business days to arrive. However, there is an option to pay additional for 2 - 3 day Priority Mail shipping, if you choose.
Custom and personalized orders
I do accept custom requests on some of my items. In the case of a custom order, I will let you know the estimated time it will take me to fill your order, and if there will be any additional charges.
Regarding the pricing of my artisan-crafted items
Some of my creations are priced higher based on the time it took me to build or customize them. As an artist, I do not try to compete with the price of mass-produced items. My artisan-crafted items are priced for their uniqueness - waiting for that perfect owner. In all honesty - some of the pieces I create, I can barely stand to part with, so I set a price that makes me feel better about letting them go. I want them to go to someone who might appreciate them as much as I do.
