Just what any Gothic Victorian dollhouse or room box needs. This sofa, chair, ottoman and coffee table began as common factory produced pieces, but I have transformed the items into one-of-a-kind, elegant works of art.
The coffee table and wooden legs are painted in antique white and gilded in a Baroque style. I mixed textile medium with Americana paint in Cranberry Wine to give the fabric a soft flexible texture. Lace trim that I hand-beaded with faux pearls adds an ornate finish to the pieces. The coffee table surface is covered in Birds and Berries Victorian Art Nouveau wall paper print. If you want you could coordinate your walls with this same paper, purchased from Etsy shop MiniatureCrush. The throw pillows are reversible, so you can change the look to suit. The dainty pom pom trim on the pillows was hand dyed by Etsy artisan LadyDotCreates. To top the set off, I have created a dried floral arrangement in a gold foiled ceramic vase to display as you like.
Approximate dimensions in inches:

Some of my creations are priced higher based on the time it took me to build or customize them. As an artist, I do not try to compete with the price of mass-produced items. My artisan-crafted items are priced for their uniqueness - waiting for that perfect owner. In all honesty - some of the pieces I create, I can barely stand to part with, so I set a price that makes me feel better about letting them go. I want them to go to someone who might appreciate them as much as I do.
