This very thin 1.5 mm white polyolefin heat shrink tubing is useful for wrapping very small miniature electric wire connections. Keeps wires from touching other wires, causing a short, and also keeps the connection secure. The white color matches most tiny dollhouse wiring coating. The inner diameter is actually 2.5 mm prior to shrinking, but the tubing is labelled as 1.5/0.85. Sold in 18" increments, which is more than enough for many tiny wiring connections. If you select multiple quantities, it will be sent as one long piece. So, if you choose a quantity of 3 for example, you will get one long piece that is 4.5 feet long. Choose desired quantity from the drop-down box.

Directions for use: Cut tubing to desired length. Be sure to put the sleeve over one of the wires before twisting the wires together (I say this from experience). Then slip it over the wire connection and snug it up with heat. Tubing can be shrunk using a hair dryer on high heat (recommended), or very carefully over a small flame (don't get it too near the plastic or other parts, or they will melt).

Mailed by First Class letter* rate if purchased alone. Shipping will be combined on orders with multiple items.

Custom and personalized orders

I do accept custom requests on some of my items. In the case of a custom order, I will let you know the estimated time it will take me to fill your order, and if there will be any additional charges.

Regarding the pricing of my artisan-crafted items

Some of my creations are priced higher based on the time it took me to build or customize them. As an artist, I do not try to compete with the price of mass-produced items. My artisan-crafted items are priced for their uniqueness - waiting for that perfect owner. In all honesty - some of the pieces I create, I can barely stand to part with, so I set a price that makes me feel better about letting them go. I want them to go to someone who might appreciate them as much as I do.
